Downloaded what I thought was a standard Java update but it's really malware that I cannot delete from my computer. I go to "programs and features" and found that it has actually been installed twice: once in november and once in march. I click on "uninstall" and after about 30 seconds of waiting it says it is opening "java installer." So I just click cancel. When I try to delete some of the files associated with this program which I found on my hard drive it says there is an error and won't let me delete them. Also, after several months, it has gone undetected by malwarebytes. I've never had such a difficult time removing a malware program from my computer. Can anyone help me with this problem? Thank you very much. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The programs are called "Java Update 40," which has given me the most trouble, installed in march, and "Java Update 25," installed in november, both by "Oracle Corporation." Apparently there has been a security problem which has allowed malware to disguise itself as java software.
