New Update 5/14/15 gives BSOD - Bad Pool Header

Recommended Posts

Hi:

Sorry to hear about your BSOD.

Are you referring to an MBAM database update, or to an MBAM program update, or to an update of something else (perhaps Windows updates from Patch Tuesday)???

Having said that, BSOD are most often due to hardware trouble, driver issues or even infection (rootkits).

If you have already uninstalled MBAM, then that will make troubleshooting a bit more complicated.
However, if you would like help with this, let's start with some basic diagnostic info.

Please read the following and attach to your next reply the 3 requested logs - Diagnostic Logs (the 3 logs are: FRST.txt, Addition.txt and CheckResults.txt)

Additional info, such as mini-dump files will likely be needed.

But the 3 logs will provide a starting point.

Thank you,
