Does anyone know if the Kingo Root application is safe? Does it contain viruses for windows when you run the software? Also will it install like a tracking thing on my phone that will infect my phone? Also if it isn't safe, how would you recommend I root my phone, are there any good rooting tools out there? Rooting tools use existing vulnerabilities in Android to escalate privileges and bypass Android's security model. XDA Developers forum probably is the most trusted source for rooting tools, you can also find feedback from users to determine if a tool is trustworthy. http://www.xda-developers.com/root/ Root at your own risk, good luck.
