My own created shortcut identified as, ''Rogue.Link''

I have a folder which I created on my PC, In it I placed some files, all of which I too created, Word documents, pdf and jpg.  I then moved this folder to another location and created a shortcut on my desktop. Malwarebytes has now identified this shortcut as a 'Rogue.Link'.

The question here is, did Malwarebutes do so merely on the fact that my link may have the same name (coincidentally) of some actual bad file? If so then it's not doing it's job like it is supposed to. And if not, how on earth can it identify my folder with my files as such? Something is very wrong here. This, to me, is not your average 'false positive'.

In case more details are important here they are. I am in Canada and have been applying at a univerisity in China. Therefore, I created a folder called 'China' to place all info attained and created in it.  The shortcut was therefore, according to Windows named, 'China.lnk' and it is this shortcut which you identified as a 'Rogue.Link'. All JPG files are actual images created on my camera or scans from my printer. The same goes for my PDFs and Word DOCs. There are some files in it sent to me from the univeristy, all in 'doc' format and 2 HTM files attained from the Project Gootenburg' web site. Regardless, neither Malware or other software I use from time to time for virus trojans etc, has ever identified these files as bad in any way--and it is the shortcut which was identified as a 'Rogue.Link' and nothing within it.

Thank you
