Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for Mac version 1.1.3 (Released October 21, 2015)

  • Rewritten from scratch in Objective-C, for better support of OS X technologies
  • Added a helper tool, installed in the background, to assist with removal of files from privileged locations
  • Improvements for greater security
  • Signature database updates can be pushed out to clients faster
  • Improved support for Accessibility features
  • Minor interface improvements

Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for Mac version 1.2.4.584 (Released June 13, 2016)

Improvements:

  • Download of app updates is now using HTTPS for greater security
  • Added detection of extensions installed in Chrome or Firefox profiles other than the default profile
  • Fixed a bug that caused failure of some files to be removed
  • Fixed a bug that caused files to fail to be detected in rare conditions
  • Fixed a bug that caused false positives with login items in rare conditions
  • Fixed a bug that caused incorrect display of some login items in system snapshots
  • No longer display Apple extensions in the kernel extension list in system snapshots
  • Fixed bug that prevented self-updating
