Windows Activation

After removing a virus on a computer I was working on, Windows7 64bit build 7601, I got the message

this copy of Windows is not genuine.

I know it is and has an OEM key

I have reset the WGA key with the CMD

C:\Windows\system32>SLMGR /REARM

This removed the message on the bottom right of the screen

Going into system, properties it tells me windows needs to be activated

When I click activate it tells me the key is incorrect

What should I do now as this will only last for about 30 days then the message will return
