Deleated files

Recommended Posts

Used malwarebytes to check up , since it was the free version i did not realise that the trial was over ; i scanned my pc and it came up with two known items of 'malware' it was sent to qurrentine where I went to and it was normal PC files so i clicked restore and then they were deleated - these files were and are needed for my PC to update all my files , I use my PC often for studying and now i can't turn it off without my PC not working (none of my virus updates on windows defender will update nor will my windows 8..)

Please I just want some help with this. :(

Thanks for screwing my PC :(

Names Of Files what were deleated:

HKLM\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\WINDOWS NT\CURRENTVERSION\SCHEDULE\TASKCACHE\TREE\PostponeInstall

&

C:\Windows\System32\Tasks\PostPoneInstall

Hello and :welcome: :

You might not be able to restore items from quarantine without first rebooting.

BUT BUT having said that, it would be best to try to get more information about what happened before doing so.
Malware can "patch" normal Windows OS files.
So it's possible or likely that the files removed were, in fact, infected.

Sorting this out will require deeper work with tools whose use is not permitted in this particular section of the forum.
Such work is conducted in a special forum area reserved for that purpose, or at the help desk.

So, for expert assistance, I suggest that you please follow the advice in this pinned topic: Available Assistance For Possibly Infected Computers.
It explains the options for free, expert help >>AND<< the suggested, preliminary steps to expedite the process.
A malware analyst will assist you with looking into your issue.

Thanks,
