Actually I used all these USB devices on my Desktop PC too, and not sure where the problem is, but these USB devices are not working on both computers. Have you tested one of your friends devices on your computer to see if it works (a known good working one)? This will help to isolate if the devices went bad.... We would need more info on the system.... I also tested another working USB flash drive, but now it is not working anywhere else. I am attaching the logs here. I could be the drive has gone bad or the controller on the drive. It could be the cable is bad. Hooking to another computer can help to try and track down issues with it. Depending on the model of the drive you might be able to remove it from the enclosure and install it into the computer as a normal 3.5" SATA drive. My own personal experience though is often that the drive has failed and not the onboard electronics of the USB enclosure. Certainly worth trying though if the data is important.
