I should also say that I have XP and microsoft security on the laptop. I tried the exclusing process and that didnt work.

i installed malwarebytes on my laptop today ( 12/23/11) it wont let me update it. I have it installed on my desktop and it updates fine. i have a LAN connection on my laptop. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. I used mbam cleaner, i also used comodo system reg cleaner to clean the reg. look at the attachment to see the error i got. thanks in advance for any help screen shot.bmp
