  1. I'm not too happy ever since I did a defrag with PerfectDisk It damaged my MFT, some system files, and NTFS. (Not to mention my USB Human Interface didn't work on first reboot after defragging.) I'm afraid I'll have to reinstall Windows soon - I don't recommend PerfectDisk...
  2. It might of just been me, but it slowed my computer AND network down - but I will try v3 as soon as it comes out! Thanks.
  3. Well, after some testing and usage of Comodo Firewall... I found that it was bloat-ware, didn't remember programs I accepted, etc. I switched to Sygate Pro; Light-Weight, Stealthy Protection, and plenty of options. Support was discontinued however because they were bought out by Symantec. I will continue to look for new firewalls, suggestions are still appreciated.
  4. Thanks for the fast reply, I will look into it.
  5. Hey everyone, Lately I've been looking to getting a decent firewall; and haven't had luck finding a rock-solid one. I currently use Filseclab Personal Firewall, it's free and actually closes all ports on your computer... but it isn't the best one, I must admit. Also I have tried ZoneAlarm & ZoneAlarm Pro and found it to be one of the worst firewalls I've ever tried. I'm looking to get a software firewall, not hardware as well. And also, I don't care about any firewalls that will slow down my computer & network even if they do have perfect protection. Any recommendations on firewalls are appreciated!
  6. Hey everyone, I finally found something that's working great CounterSpy from Sunbelt-Software (www.Sunbelt-Software.com) Good detection and it's running better for me than Spyware Doctor. Highly recommended by me. Cheers, Keenan
  7. I had made a IRC channel for MalwareBytes, it wasn't known about. But the bot I was using to manage the IRC Channel banned me, and then the channel stopped working.
  8. Grr, the IRC channel was having problems. Just delete this post...
  9. Nice list #1 was by far the best. Cheers, Keenan
  10. Hello Pcfreakske2000, Welcome to MalwareBytes Cheers, Keenan EDIT: Sorry, administrator. Anyways enjoy your stay Pcfreakske2000.
  11. Thanks for the reply Rubber Ducky. Will try. Excited for the release of your guys' anti-spyware Cheers, Keenan
  12. Hello everyone, Right now I'm looking for a decent anti-spyware to replace my current one. I use Spyware Doctor 5.x, and keep it open for the real-time protection. And it obviously slows the computer down because of all the resources that SD uses. Yes, I'm willing to pay for it too. What would be ideal: Real-time protection available, low resource usage, good detection. All suggestions are greatly appreciated. Cheers, Keenan
  13. Eek. I actually have their XoftSpySE (Use it as a back-up from my SUPERAntiSpyware scanner) And I honestly don't know about the company's past, and don't know what they did to be listed as rogue. Advertising through ad-ware/spyware? False positives?
  14. Well I've learned more about batch files and I know what's wrong with it. If I get more time I will make *better* batches to remove other rogue applications.
