  1. Well, thank you. I did a handfull of searches, and found naught about that. Seems that one of those searches should have turned that information up though. (with tongue in cheek) So . . . who's ashamed of whom?
  2. I don't know a lot of things, but I see something that has me suspicious . . . One of my customers brought in a computer she has been having a lot of trouble with lately. I've cleaned lots of spyware and viruses off the system, she always blames the kids . . . yeah sure! Anyhow, she had the tech from Windstream come to her house to change her over from Cable back to Windstream DSL service. They installed a program called "Radialpoint Malware Removal" . . . and it looks like a clone of Malware bytes. Maybe I'm crazy, but never heard about any name change, and wonder why Malwarebytes would take on the name of a "rootkit" discussed in these very forums some time back. In fact, the program's about page says it is produced by Malwarebytes. Is this real, or a clever spoof that the Windstream Tech fell for? Of course, just like when they have a defective modem, bad connection or cut their own lines, they tell her it's my fault.
