  1. Having a problem with PC freezing when playing flash. I am running a AMD 1090T with a 890gpa-ud3h MB 8gb of corsair 1866 ram, a gtx 550 ti video card and a seasonic 760 power supply. I am running windows 7 64 bit on a vertex 3 120 ssd. All drivers are up to date. It does it in Chrome and firefox. It freezes at random times sometimes 3-4 times in a matter of a half hour sometimes i can go a day or 2 without any crashes. I have scanned my pc with malwarebytes, cleaned registry with CCleaner, I am running Eset as a anti virus. my disks are all defragged. I have attempted everything I can think of shy of a fresh install. but this has done this ever since a fresh install. I have changed power supplies, video cards, oh and my system is water cooled so its not overheating. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you in advance! Oh and everything freezes. mouse keyboard everything . I can wait about 5 minutes I usually get a flash crash report. Shockwave and firefox flash error. I even get firefox flash error when freezing using chrome. and have uninstalled and reinstalled everything i can think of as well.
  2. Yes I completely wiped the antivirus out of my HD. my final anti virus will be Eset. I was just trying out AVG since a friend raved about it so badly! I should have listened to my gut and tossed it out like I did years ago. It was not browser specific. It would do it on itunes as well as other progs. It seemed to stop now. my friends computer immediately after AVG delete. and mine did it a few times after but my conclusion is my SSD was relearning my system without avg. Thanks for the attempt to help. And finally I would like to go off a bit. P2P progs are not the root to all computer problems! Everyone instantly blames it on them. Because it used for illegal activity. But not everyone uses it for illegal uses! P2P progs are the only way to transfer large file efficiently through the internet ATM. Without it. I would not have a business. and everything I use it for is to transfer large files back and forth to clients that are my files not anything pirated! I have been using p2p progs for well over 5 years now and have never had a single incident that could be tracked back to it. Nor has any of the hundred computers I've have repaired that had it installed on it either. Sorry if I'm sounding mean. It's not meant to be that way but there is not to many ways to express dialogue in typing. But it just gets me going when everyone immediately blames a p2p prog. the very first time I came on here with a hijack this log I had someone yell at me for using one saying they are for nothing but illegal DL . When I tried to explain I don't do anything illegal with it I was called a flat out liar. Yes it is possible to get a virus using p2p file sharing, but no more unsafe than downloading anything else on the internet. So please stop being one those guys who jumps to conclusions about p2p.
  3. Hello all, been a long time since i posted on here. First here is my problem. My computer seems to semi-freeze. meaning the screen will freeze but if there is any audio it will continue playing. The freeze happens for about ten second intervals and does it about every hour or two. only one or two times in a row. It mainly happens while on firefox, but had also appeared while using iTunes and other progs. I have been able to view system usage while this occurs and its not the system being pegged out. Now 3 thing to note before coming to a conclusion 1- this is a new install of windows 7 64 bit. 2- this is happening on my friends computer that I just built as well. and 3- its not the anti virus because I have uninstalled and attempted multiple ones to eliminate it. I will give you a run down of my system Amd 1190T 6 core processor, (usually Oc from 3.2 to 4.0GHT but not in this instance) 8 GB 0r ddr3 1866 ram currently running at 1600 due to the no OC, Gigabyte MB 890 chipset, 2 9800gt evga video cards. 1 OCZ vertex 3 on sata6 cable and 3 other HD for storage. running a 700w Corsair power supply. Now the only thing new to this system besides a clean install was the SSD. but i have eliminated that by trying another one, and my friend pc is doing the same thing. At first I thought it was the new ssd learning my computer and the freezing was caused by it programing. But I have ruled out everything i can think of up to this point. oh just in case its a factor i'm running dual monitors and so is the other pc thats freezing. Thanks in advance for any opinions!
  4. Well I am willing to learn if it could save me time in the long run lol I don't mind installing them the way i do but when at a customers house time is everything. So if i could shave off time there it benefits everyone. I'll check out Microsoft website. thank you for the suggestion.
  5. Hello again everyone! ok my question this time is. I want to make a boot disk but I want it to also automatically install some other programs with it. Now this has to be universal disk not a clone. I've been reinstalling and upgrading allot of computers lately and I pretty much install the same programs on every computer. So instead of using one of windows disks ans then having to plug my flash drive in a manually install each program I want it to install these programs while it installs windows. So for a example I have 3 disks one is windows 7 one xp one vista instead of it just reinstalling windows it could add say MS office too then when its finished i could just add the key to the program. And before anyone jumps down my throat i'm doing all this with purchased licenses.
  6. Yes I did do a memory test. Pulled the ram and started one by one but never made a difference This is pretty much why I ended up posting here. I'm lost! I think it is my motherboard and the windows 7 is just pushing it enough to be noticed! I'm just attempting to hold on to it for a bit longer until I get the funds to build my new toy! I just hope it doesn't completely stop before I can get the new one up and running.
  7. Games run fine on xp. Bio shock modern warfare ect. all play fine on both. As for the power supply? I purchased a new power supply about a moth before i loaded 7. it was a 600w, it was also as cheap as they come. So I suspected it might have been the power supply for the past month but that burnt up last week and i purchased a new more powerful and better brand one and still same problems. As for the warranty? Thats long long gone. It's well over due to build me a new pc!!! Just the $$$ Isn't there at the moment. Otherwise I would have never even bothered trying to figure this one out. Well i guess ill just never shut it off until it either blows up. LOL Or I can build my new toy. Thank you so much for your time and racking your nugget for me!
  8. I did as listed yet still no luck But one thing I noticed is that it's not me enabling the usb drivers that gets the video card to load. I can't have any usb devices plugged into the computer. If i unplug all usb devices it loads fine every time. The code i get for the usb drivers is: This device cannot start code 10. I would swear it's my motherboard not being able to load all at one time. But why does it work on Xp. I loaded it again just now to confirm and it was fine. another thing i noticed is on the download page you linked to it states: The Intel Chipset Device Software does not install drivers for AGP or USB. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS UTILITY IF YOUR DEVICE MANUFACTURER IS RECOMMENDING IT TO CORRECT AN "AGP DRIVER," "AGP GART," OR "USB DRIVER" ISSUE; IT WILL NOT CORRECT YOUR ISSUE. Does this mean that Microsoft recognizes this problem but has no idea how to fix it?
  9. Thank you Sooo much for all your time and help!!! I will give it a try as soon as i get a chance and report back.
  10. I'm running widows 7 64 bit. on a 1009189Gateway GT5238E Media Center Computer Intel core2 cpu 6300 @1.86 ghz, 4.0 GB RAM, and a Nvidia geforce 9800 gt bfi eco series video card. I'm not overclocking it either.
  11. Yeah sorry i forgot to put that in. It's a brand new power supply actually 2nd. It's more than enough power 750w . Now My first guess was the mother board , but it loads and everything works just fine when i boot xp.
  12. So a couple of months ago I switched to windows 7 everything was fine and dandy for a few weeks until I rebooted. When I rebooted all usb ports on my pc were unrecognized. The fix? Disable and enable and problem resolved. Until next reboot. I did about every scan known to man and nothing has come up! So I don't think it's a virus. I uninstalled the drivers and reinstalled them updated them to the latest ones unplugged the ones that aren't directly connected to the motherboard rebooted and then shut down and reinstalled . I've done a ton of searches on the net and can't seem to find anything relating to my problem. Now just recently, my video card wont load. I have to pull it out, reboot with motherboard vid card and then renabale the usb drives again in order for it to recognize the video card. If I don't enable the usb drives it will never load the video card no matter how many times i reboot uninstall reinstall ect. Does anybody here have a clue of what could be my problem? I've updated everything from bios to drivers and still i'm stumped!!! Since when I get to the point of I can't figure it out, You Geniuses have never steered me wrong! Sooooo Anything???
  13. Rootrepeal will not work properly for me. I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it twice. When I get to checking c:\ drive as soon as I check it and hit ok my computer restarts. I've tried other options and it still restarts every time!!!
  14. This is all that was in ntbtlog Loaded driver \SystemRoot\system32\drivers\kmixer.sys
