  1. You can try downloading and installing...if that fails...download to another machine and transfer with a pendrive. I have never heard of a CPU infection...boot record, resident memory, sys.dll maybe, but not CPU! nic
  2. Obviously... you don't read well! "I think this is a good product...mine is a question of curiosity not criticism".
  3. It sounds as if you're saying it only cleans one time! I have deleted the logs that found items and manual scans now show nothing to remove-no infections. I think this is a good product...mine is a question of curiosity not criticism. nic
  4. I'll try this question again...I have run MBAM on 4 machines and it will find stuff on the first scan of each computer. Subsequent scans show nothing found. If the free version doesn't have the PM...why doesn't it find anything else? (Well, I thought it was an easy question!) nic
  5. Thnx ybird, I'm using (on XP SP2) KPF 4.2.2,Avast Free, and SEconfigXP. After I update and scan w/MBAM...it says I am clean. I didn't save the 1st scan. Nic
  6. When I first run MB it finds a bunch of stuff (I have run it on a few computers now) then after many updates (usually around 1.8Mb) it doesn't find anything? If it is not a resident scanner why am I not finding anything new? Thanks, Nic
