  1. Hi lmacri, I see you've opened a support case on this issue as well. It'll be best for us to continue working from there, but for others who may need help: Chances are we'll need to add a web exclusion for Norton in Malwarebytes Anti-Malware as well. Since Anti-Malware protects on both malicious files and websites, it'll be best to add the Norton application to the Web Exclusions as well. This will help make sure there isn't any conflict with the Website Protection and NIS. To do, please try these steps: 1. Launch Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 2. Click Settings > Web Exclusions 3. Click Add Process 4. Navigate to the folder where NIS is installed 5. Select the NIS executable, and then click Open 6. Repeat steps 3-5 for any other NIS executables This will prevent Malwarebytes Anti-Malware from checking the network traffic that originates from this process, and should hopefully help with the problem.
  2. Hi purzel, and welcome to the Malwarebytes forums! We're currently looking into adding Cloud-based servers as an option for the Management Console, but it will likely not be available for some time still. However, we'd love to hear any feedback you may have on this. Feel free to send me your contact details in a private message, and we'll reach out to try and get some more detailed information on what you'd like to see.
  3. Hi Arutt, and welcome to the Malwarebytes Forums! This message looks like it is coming from our home version of Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. To resolve this, please try the steps on our help portal. Additionally, please note that the use of of Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Free, Trial, or Premium is intended for personal home use only. Use of these versions of Malwarebytes outside of personal home use is against the EULA. If you wish to use Malwarebytes in a business environment you will need to purchase corporate licensing. Business licensing can be found at the page below. https://www.malwarebytes.org/business/
  4. Hi rsingh, and welcome to the Malwarebytes forums! To unblock a website in your Malwarebytes Management Console, you can use the instructions available on our Help Portal to whitelist an item. Please see the help article at this page: https://businesshelp.malwarebytes.org/hc/en-us/articles/202397154 Please let me know if this information helps or if there's anything else we can help with.
  5. Hi formatpro, and welcome to the Malwarebytes forums! There currently is not a list of all of the compatible security solutions for Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for Business. However, you can add your current security solution's files to the Ignore List of Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and vice versa in Panda. This will prevent Malwarebytes from scanning or detecting the files, and should prevent any conflicts between the two programs. Additionally, since Malwarebytes Anti-Malware detects files as they load into memory vs. on access, the detections will typically occur at different times and should not conflict. Regarding a trial, you can submit a request to our sales team at this page: http://www.malwarebytes.org/business/mbam-licensing/. Once they receive the request they'll reach out to you with additional information about your trial options. Please let us know if there's anything else we can help with!
  6. Hi cjones_ufv, and welcome to the Malwarebytes forum! It looks like you've already opened a support ticket for help on migrating your SQL database. The agent in the ticket will be giving you some detailed steps to follow for your setup, but in general the process works like this: Click Start > All Programs > Malwarebytes Enterprise Edition > Data Backup and Restoration Create a new backup of the database on your Management Server Copy the backup folder to your SQL Server Inside the backup folder, locate the SCDB.mdf and .ldf files Copy these files to the folder C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL11.MSSQLSERVER\MSSQL\DATA\ Note: This folder may vary depending on your installation path On the new SQL Server, log in to SQL Management Studio Attach the SCDB.MDF file Once attached, rename the database from C:\Program Files... to SCDB On your existing Management Server, log in to the Management Console Click the Admin Pane on the left On the Overview tab, under SQL Database Setting, click Change Enter the address, instance name, and user information (sysadmin role preferred) for the SQL server The Management Console should disconnect, and then you should be able to log in againAs far as configuration requirements go, you'll need to enable Named Pipes and TCP/IP on your SQL Server. For other customers who are looking for specific steps unique to your setup or who would like help with this, please feel free to create a support ticket using our support request form and a support agent will be able to help further.
  7. Hi jhostetler, and welcome to the Malwarebytes forums! The Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Remediation Tool runs on a client level. To scan remote computers, you'd need to copy the tool to their system and then run the scan. To do this remotely, you'd need a solution to execute commands on the client from another system, such as PSExec. Hopefully this helps clarify, but please let us know if there's anything else we can assist with.
  8. Hello DB_UD, and welcome to the Malwarebytes forums! .NET 3.5 is a requirement of the Managed Client portion of the installation - our client package is still using version 1.75.0.1300, and will continue to require .NET 3.5 until this version changes. We're still currently working on developing Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 2.0 for businesses. As more information becomes available for the update, we'll be making announcements regarding this, but in the meantime it is safe to say .NET 3.5 will be required. Let us know if you have any other questions we can assist with.
  9. Hello mobrien, and welcome to the Malwarebytes forums! It would probably be best to work on this case in a support ticket, since the issue you're experiencing is likely specific to your environment. Please submit a support ticket via this form. Once the ticket is submitted, a support representative will reach out to you shortly and assist you further. If you have any other questions, please let us know.
  10. Hi Ajrechk, Unfortunately at this time there is no method to auto-scan a USB device such as this. The Management Console can only interact with primary drive of the system. To scan USB devices, you'd need to launch a scan from the client UI and manually initiate a scan. However, the filesystem protection module will continue to protect your computer against threats loaded into memory from the USB drive. Hope this info helps - please let me know if you have any other questions and I'll be happy to assist.
  11. Hi JamesThom, Malwarebytes Enterprise Edition's latest version is 1.3.1.1962. You can view the features added in this version at our release history page. If you're interested in upgrading to this version, please send me a private message with the following information: Name Email Cleverbridge Reference Number With this information, I can assist you further in a support ticket. Let me know if you have any questions.
  12. Hi Ken, I saw your open support ticket and had sent a response, but I also wanted to respond here in case other people are experiencing similar problems. Likely the reason that your users login times are slow are due to resource usage issues that have come up after installing our Malwarebytes realtime protection features. In order to mitigate this, I would suggest adding a startup delay to the protection features in your policy settings. This can be found under the Protection Settings tab of the particular policy that is applied to these computers. I'd suggest starting at at least 120 seconds, but if you notice the log in times are still slow you can increase this upwards as necessary. If this doesn't resolve the issue, please let me know by responding to your support ticket, and we can work on it together from there.
  13. Hi Cleatus, WMI allows Malwarebytes Enterprise Edition to use a local Windows system account rather than the domain account to call the installation commands. This usually helps the installation with newer operating systems such as Windows 7 which have permission issues that prevent the domain account from being able to access the commands needed to run the install. WMI should not create any major security issues to my knowledge.
  14. Hi Cleatus, Jeffrey is currently out of the office but I wanted to step in and make sure you were doing okay. It sounds like you were able to get your push installs working with WMI. Is this the case? Please let me know if you are still in need of assistance and I'll be happy to open a support ticket for you so that we can work on the issue further.
  15. Hi dExIT, I have sent you a private message with additional details. We can continue from there.
