  1. Hi. I have just finished updating anything that needs to be updated, I've just reset my laptop and things are working smoothly. I'd like too thank you for your hard work and co-operation during this time and it means a lot too me. I would not have not been able to do anything without your guidance. Thank you very much. You can close/delete the thread now. I believe my issue has been resolved. Thank you. Zero.
  2. Same goes for VLC Media player once i install version 2.0.8 should i uninstall version 2.0.5? Same goes for Skype?
  3. Currently installing windows essentials 2012, once it finishes installing should i uninstall windows essentials 2011? Thanks.
  4. Did all the steps above, i couldn't find c:\FRST though, i think OTC got rid of it. Things seem to be running smoothly so far, BTW you asked me to uninstall browsetosave and DMuninstaller should i uninstall those 2 programs?

  6. I did all of that and its working fine now. I think we've fixed it, thank you. Now should I update Java and Adobe? As well as uninstall DMuninstaller and browse to save? Should I also uninstall all the log files and the anti virus programs you told me too install?
  7. Ok here are my results: 1st boot up: Checked top half, MSE was turned on, network loading symbol appeared, couldn't open any programs until after 20 mins. 2nd boot up: Checked top half, first 6 boxes, MSE was turned off, network loading symbol appeared and i could not open any program until after 20 min. 3rd boot up: Checked top half, first 6 boxes but i only checked the bottom 3 of the first 6. I could open all programs programs ran smoothly and quickly. 4th boot up: Checked the first 3 boxes, MSE was turned off, networking loading symbol appeared and i could not open any program until after 20 min. 5th boot up: I checked Adobe Acrobat, laptop started normally it was quick and smooth. 6th boot up: I checked Intel Centrino wireless blue tooth- Started up normally it was quick and smooth. 7th boot up: I checked blue tooth device monitor- MSE was turned off, networking loading symbol appeared and i could not find any program until after 20 min. It seems like the problem was the Blue tooth device moniter. What do i do now?
  8. I have not closed it since the reboot nor have i began any updates.Should i update java and adobe. and in the msconfig there are some programs unchecked should i check them?
  9. Should i name the programs that are unchecked? Or the programs that stopped running?
  10. I did clean boot before updating... Well as soon as i opened it it was the same but less than a min. later it started working normally the bars showed, MSE was turned on. What now? I haven't updated java nor adobe yet.
  11. Just in case you didnt see it, my laptop is running normally in normal windows after waiting about 45 min. Should i update adobe and java first and do the ip thing or should i do a clean boot first?
  12. OK after waiting around 30 min - 1 hr. My MSE was turned on and my network icon had all 5 loading bars and the loading circle was off. I think its back to normal but if i open my comp. again it will take another hour just to load everything.
