  1. Thank you for explaining how to update just definitions without the program update. I have set my machine and any other I choose to run Malwarebytes on to do only this. I understand that it is your prerogative to make your program appear how you want but from a users perspective, its horrible and the clean look has gone to some ugly interface that looks like malware and behaves like it too. It had found many threats and yet all were ticked as "ignore" clicking "quarantine all" seems to not actually do anything other than shut malware bytes down.
  2. No offense to the writers & software people but like so many others I think the new version looks like malware itself. The older version was clean, crisp and very functional! I feel it has taken a step backwards much like when "adaware" tried to do the same sort of thing what seems like a million years ago. I was a huge fan of adaware and used it with much success until they changed it so much that it wasn't recogniseable nor did it work the same. That's when I read about malwarebytes and have been a loyal user ever since. The addition of Full time virus scanning was a blessing as I wanted an all in one package. I trialled it but found it was still a little too system intensive and was waiting for further fixes. But I fear now it has evolved in ways that make it no where near as user friendly as it was nor as reliable. I also found myself Googling for ways to revert to the older interface even for the short time but I know I am only delaying the inevitable. From reading here - first time forum user and I only signed up to give my 2 cent's worth- it doesn't look like we will be seeing the interface of old again regardless of what the users want... I would like to thank you though, over the years I have used Malwarebytes to remove all sorts of nasties without issue and always easily compared to other malware removal agents and have always raved about it to others when they ran into trouble.
