Hello, THis forum was a huge help to me years ago, and I'm hoping to get some more help for my family's computer. According to my pops, it had a virus infection last year, and he took it to Best Buy and got it fixed. WHen I went to take a look at it, it was sluggish, kept saying "powershell.exe has failed" and was generally not in good shape for a computer purchase 2 years ago. I downloaded MBAM and ran it earlier today. It found a huge number of malware, and quarantined a number of files (I've attached the MBAM logs along with the required two logs).
