Gave up trying to uninstall MBAE and MBAM. Saved important personal files, then restored computer to condition at purchase. Took all day to do this and get relevant updates, but end result is a usable machine. Can mark this thread "SOLVED".

I've attached the FRST files. Unable to zip MBAE files - "access denied". I could try to attach individual files from the MBAE directory if you tell me which ones. Should I also include MBAM files?Addition.txtFRST.txt

Shortly after installing MBAM and MBAE on this Win7 machine, I discovered that I was not able to print to my Brother printer (command caused Chrome to close). I can print from Firefox, but intentionally closing Firefox causes an error. Can't quote exact message since I am sending this via Firefox, but it's something like "plugin-container.exe stopped working". Tried to uninstall MBAM and MBAE to see if these caused the problems, but cannot do either: message is "Setup was unable to create the directory 'C:\Users\Joyce\AppData\Local\Temp\is-HUJQC.tmp'" (final characters vary with each try).
