This computer isn't technically mine, so I'm not sure if there's any cracked software. How can I be sure if there is or not?

Hello. I'm new to the forums, so I don't know if this is the right spot for this. No matter how many times I try, the adware comes back. I don't know how to get rid of it, or how it was even installed. It always seems to be different each time, too. Right now it's called LowPricesApp, for Google Chrome, but before it was BestDiscountApp. And on Mozilla Firefox, it was one called "ApptoU". Can someone please help me?
