  1. Reading though another thread, I saw a suggestion for running Eset antivirus...the text output was as follows: C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Adobe\Shockwave 11\gt.exe Win32/Bundled.Toolbar.Google.D potentially unsafe application C:\AdwCleaner\Quarantine\C\Program Files (x86)\File Type Helper\FileTypeHelper.exe.vir MSIL/FileTypeHelper.A potentially unwanted application deleted - quarantinedC:\AdwCleaner\Quarantine\C\Program Files (x86)\File Type Helper\FileTypeHelper_assoc.exe.vir MSIL/FileTypeHelper.A potentially unwanted application deleted - quarantinedC:\Users\gmoeller\Downloads\DownloadManagerSetup.exe a variant of Win32/InstallCore.UE potentially unwanted application deleted - quarantinedC:\Windows\System32\Adobe\Shockwave 11\gt.exe Win32/Bundled.Toolbar.Google.D potentially unsafe application deleted - quarantined I tried to manually delete this file (C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Adobe\Shockwave 11\gt.exe Win32/Bundled.Toolbar.Google.D) though it was not present in the specified folder. When I rebooted the same problem above existed. Seems like I am headed in the right direction, but definitely would like help. Greg
  2. MB community, I tried to install a "free" VPN tool and got stung. McAfee Internet Security detected a Trojan once the install started (Artemis!0XXXX, the generic name McAfee uses for detected but unclassified viruses). However, I have been unable to quarantine the virus because it is in an unidentifiable shared folder. Symptoms are that the Google Drive plug-in does not work correctly (see screen shot). Can anyone help? The Trojan is intermittently detected by McAfee, though the specific shared folder is not identified. Full scans with Malwarebytes, McAfee, JRT, AdwareRemoval, TDS Killer, etc can't find it. Greg
