  1. "Cleanup: Scan Failed Error This version of malwarebytes Ant-Rootkit requires you to completely exit the Malwarebyte Anti-Malware application to continue." H.Kuska comment: I assume that the message is asking me to shut down the main program, but how does one do that?
  2. I have been sent here by apparently a different sub set of the forum "As we don't deal with malware removal in this section of the Forum you need to start a topic in the Malware Removal forum...." Addition.txt FRST.txt
  3. I rebooted. Tried an update. It tried to update for a long time so I went to breakfast. When I came back it had finished trying but the same out of date message was still there. v2014.11.20.06
  4. I have windows 8.1, 64 bit version. I use standard Microsoft Explorer and security. I have the premium version of Malwarebytes. The automatic updates have never worked. A Google search reports many? others with this problem. There are posted solutions that are too technical for me (a home user). For example, even shut off your firewall does not tell me how to shut off the firewall. Is it too much to expect a manufacture to provide a download program to fix this problem?
