  1. So it's been a day and still no sign of it. There nothing out of the ordinary happening with my computer, so I guess it's gone now.
  2. Yes, and it came back clean twice, but it detected it again on the third time. I restarted my computer, and it still detected it, so I created a new browser user profile for chrome seeing as it seemed to fix the problem with some other people. I've scanned it a few times since, and they all came out clean. I'm not sure if the problem is actually fixed or not...
  3. I'm not sure if it's worth mentioning, but my user account control was changed without prompting. AdwCleanerS2.txt protection log.txt
  4. Hello, I turned on my computer today and malwarebytes detected "pup.optional.spigot.a," but every time I go to get rid of it, it comes back. It doesn't seem to be doing much to my computer (it hasn't changed my search engine or anything like that), but I'm terrified that it's getting my personal information somehow. Any ideas on how to get rid of it?
