I've removed the iobits software. going to perfrom the next directions, but I don't know what you mean "manually reboot your machine" I've tried to do a google search and what a bunch of stuff. 5. I started to scan with RootKit Mbar. 150331 FRST.txt 1st think to show up was; [Registy value "AppInit_Dlls" has been found, which may be caused by rootkit activity. Note: press "no" button if you're not sure. If the tool crashes or terminates unexpectedly during a system scan, restart the tool and press "yes" should this message appear again. Do you want to remove this value and restart tool?] I pressed No, because I wasn't sure. The tool ran completely and didn't find anything. I then ran Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and only got the Frst file. So, I've attached it. Jim
  6. I noticed "Search Protection from Spigot Inc version 11.2.02" in "Program and Features while, I was removing a program. I tried to use "IObit Uninstaller 4.2" to remove it. Ended with it removed, but it returns. Then I used free Malwarebytes, which found it and quarantined them. Still keeps returning, then I installed and used Premium home Malwarebytes and it doesn't find the "search protection", though it's still on the computer. So, I'm contacting you. I've attached the files (FRST.txt) & (Addition.txt). Thanks in advance Jim Addition.txt FRST.txt
