  1. Hello, I was referred here by a tech specialist I was working with to resolve some freezing issues. In order to help Malwarebytes fix this problem please find the information and logs below. Thank you. When did the freeze first start occurring? Freezes began occurring on 7th January 2019. What were you doing on the computer immediately prior to the latest freeze? Blizzard BattleNet Application began updating a couple games such as Heroes of the Storm and Overwatch. Did you notice anything significant occur around the time of the latest freeze (e.g. AV notification, application crash, etc)? The only significant event is when BattleNet attempts to either update the games or when I attempt to reinstall Blizzard games. Installation was tried with and without the desktop app. In each event the computer froze and became unresponsive. Has a freeze occurred when the computer is idle? No. Freezes only occur when installing or updating games. Have you noticed a correlation between high network traffic and the computer freezing? I have not noticed any correlation between network traffic and freezing. How often does the computer freeze? Only when game updates and installations are attempted, Are you able to reproduce the freeze on-demand? If the answer is yes, what are the steps? The freeze can be reproduced (for me) when I attempt to update or install games through the Blizzard BattleNet desktop app. How old is the computer? The computer is custom built and is roughly 5 years old. Was the computer upgraded from XP/Vista to Windows 7? No. The computer was and has always been on Windows 7. Is the computer fully up-to-date with Windows Updates? Which updates have been installed after the first freeze occurred? The Windows Updates are up to date with the latest being installed during the week of the 7th January. Does the computer have multiple network adapters? If it does, what happens when you disable the adapter currently in use and switch to a different adapter? The computer has a built-in wireless adapter and a D-link network adapter. The built-in adapter has been permanently disabled and has never been used (as it is not strong enough to pick up the wireless signals for some reason). Should you need more information please let me know. Thank you and I hope this can be resolved soon. mbst-grab-results.zip
  2. Thank you for your help. The attachments you mention don't appear to be any in your post however.
  3. Please find attached the zipped Quarantine folder. Thank you. Quarantine.zip
  4. Hello, I've done a reboot and MBAM will still not allow the file to recover. I've also done a full shut down and power up and received the same result. Below is an image of the error I am receiving. I apologize for the inconvenience.
  5. Hello, I've recently run a scan on my system and Malwarebytes detected Trojan.Agent.ADRED on my system. However, when I looked back it appears that the file was from the Norton Program Data Folder. I've attached my scan log; unfortunately however, in my stupid panic I had MBAM remove the file so I can't attach the file. It's still listed in Quarantine but I can't seem to restore it (I get an access denied error). If anything else is requried, please let me know. Thank you. Scan Log.txt
  6. Ok, I think I understand. So the blocks are a result of the game trying to update from flagged IP addresses, not because there is something on my system. I'm terribly sorry to have wasted your time on this. But thank you very much for your help.
  7. Thank you very much for your help this evening, Mr. C. I've attached the JRT text file (and the AdwCleaner file as well since I wasn't sure what the items were). Thank you again for your help and I apologize for taking up your time. AdwCleanerR0.txt JRT.txt
  8. Hello Mr. C, The patch was automatically downloaded and applied via the launcher for the game once it is launched. The .exe file you have listed there. Which is why I scanned the launcher file. I had updared and run a scan with Norton Anti-virus after Malwarebytes had come up with the warnings. The scan had only returned tracking cookies however. If I must take additional steps please let me know. I apologize for the inconvenience.
  9. Hello, I've attached the malwarebytes protection log and the ComboFix text file. I wasn't entirely sure which file I should scan with VirusTotal so I decided to scan the launcher.exe file which was causing the blocks. I hope that is alright. Here's the URL: https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/e1b9794ca84f1592d8fa9dded34f6ba39bb6f646eaed5ad89ca71259a5427a57/analysis/1427331285/ I've also cleared out the temporary files with TFC as you've instructed. I might be jumping the gun here, but I was wondering that since malwarebytes' scan didn't find anything, could these blocks be false postives or something similar? I'm sorry for taking up your time but thank you for helping me with this. ComboFix.txt MBAM Block Log.txt
  10. Hello Mr. C, As per your request I have run both Malwarebytes and RogueKiller and have attached the logs. Thank you for your reply. MBAM Log 25 Mar 2015.txt RKReport.txt
  11. Good day, I was hoping I could get some assitance with an issue. I was downloading a patch for a Warthunder and Malwarebytes began blocking outbound and inbound connections from various IP addresses. I'm a concerned that my computer may be infected. I've run FarBar Recovery Scan Tool and have attached the logs. Thank you for your assistance. FRST.txt Addition.txt
