Hello, I recently downloaded something that I shouldn't have and now my computer is infected with Salus ads and it keeps adding more and more programs to put up more and more ads almost making it impossible to use Chrome on my laptop. I did a google search and found this forum and downloaded the Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and ran a scan, but I need help now. It says that the file the guy that posted that thread was supposed to run would possibly harm other computers since every system is a little different. I just want to be able to browse and do research like I was before this virus got into my system. I have run malwarebytes, I only have the free version though. and it seemed like it helped for a little while after clearing the quarantined items from my computer. But now the virus is back in full swing! Also, I have attached the results from the Farbar scan below. If any professional could help me get this gone that would be much appreciated!
