  1. hi. i think i had a very simiilar if not the same problem. i got infected by a specific trojan and afterwards my internet connection went stuff. specifically there is a problem with uploading anything. tried system restore too, no good (actually, it failed). tried netsh reset too, no good. if by any chance MrC or other expert would give a look... also i'd like to know if there is any knowledge if these issues are caused by the malwarebytes program itself when it resets or re-configures network configurations or is it caused by the trojan themselves...
  2. hi. I got infected by Win32.Genome.ABHM through a workmate's pen drive. had Baidu antivirus which caught the infection but apparently didnt stop its spread. so i took these steps in removing the infection: - baidu full scan and removal of threats from pendrive. - baidu full scan and removal of threats from HDD - malwarebytes installation and fullscan removal of pendrive and HDD. (used free version) despite these actions to be successful, I had a serious problem with internet connectivity. actually during malwarebytes download, connection was reset various many times, making the download a VERY LONG one. reading more about the virus, i reached the conclusion that this problem was due to some possible mess up from its infection. performing bandwidth test, i got to this: Métrica São Paulo Speed download: 30.63 Mbps Speed upload: FAILED Latency (UDP): 20.03 ms Jitter (UDP): 13.95 ms packet loss (UDP): 0 % many times over. it is impossible to use my webmail to send nothing to anyone. gaming is useless. netflix is useless please help! reading about similar situation from a fellow guy some posts below, i already run Farbar recovery analysis, DDS tool, and attached the reports. thank you very much in advance.
