It seems to be doing MUCH better. I haven't used any other programs and have not been on any websites other than this forum. So i hope it continues! I have a question for you regarding the pictures I backed up. I wasn't very clear when I asked you a couple days ago, I apologize. I backed up my pictures to my external hard drive before you assisted me, when I had the malware. The next time I plug in my external hard drive to back up more items, will it infect my computer? Do you think the hard drive is infected? (Or is there a way to know?)

It started up much faster and seems to be doing better! I haven't run any scans, should I run the malware bytes scan again? That is when the freezing was occurring the most.

Quick question, I did back up my pictures to my external hard drive, are there additional steps I need to take later in case that hard drive is infected also? Since I backed it up while all these issues are going on.

Hi, I did a threat scan yesterday and malwarebytes removed a lot of infected objects. When my computer restarted, there were multiple boxes popping up with the ending .exe bad image. I tried to run another scan and my laptop keeps freezing. I saw that other people had similar issues on this forum, any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you so much! Chelsi
