I'm getting an error straight after extraction. Malwarebytes Anti-Rootkit: error Error during execution ""C:\Users\Wille87\Desktop\mbar\mbar.cmd" "C:\Users\Wille87\Desktop\mbar"". When I open up mbar and go through the steps I hit scan but get the following error. Error Error during a scan has occurred. Scan can't continue. -

Yes, multiple times After the FRST fix it did an automatic restart and I have restarted since. When I try to open Malwarebytes Anti-Malware program I get the following error: mbam.exe - Application Error The exception unknown software exception (0x40000015) occurred in the application at location 0x72e9d6fd. Click on OK to terminate the program Could this be a reason why it's not working? -

Unfortunately still not getting internet access to Internet Explorer or Chrome I am getting the following error when I start up too: IAStorIcon.exe - .NET Framework Initialization Error Please set registry key HKLM\Software\Microsoft\.NETFramework\InstallRoot to point to the .NET Framework install location Fixlog attached. Hi _argus No window again opened in safe mode when I did appwiz.cpl. I tried to uninstall through control panel (in safe mode) but when I clicked uninstall, neither program seemed to uninstall. AVG error message: Installation cannot continue. Error message: MFA is already running and only one instance is allowed at a time. Error code: 0xE001D026 MSE error message: Can't install Microsoft Security Essentials on a computer running in safe mode. Appreciate your help. -

Hi _argus, Thanks for your quick response. I am having issues with step 1, no window opens when I try to run appwiz.cpl. Nothing opens when I click "Uninstall a program" in control panel too. -

Hi, I ran my first Malwarebytes scan and removed threats, now I can't access the internet at all via Internet Explorer and Chrome.
