OK since my machine is sorta my home server I had not re-booted it in a while. Just did some MS updates this AM and had to re-boot - all seems OK now. Ran a scan just to be safe an all was ok - strange ... oh well thank you all for your help

Just started getting this other day Running Windows 7 64 bit - NEVER click on stuff and AVG reports all OK Malware bytes still running in system tray, but when I try to scan it get to the root kit and I get this error. Help I don't want to be exposed .
