  1. So as of about yesterday, the whole keylogger and malware being spread over Grand Theft Auto V mods has been on PC-news and modding sites, see the story here: http://gtaforums.com/topic/794383-malware-inside-angry-planes-noclip-mod/page-1 So I've used the removal instructions on that page and I'm about to do a boot time scan with another anti-virus, Is there any additional programs I should use or methods to remove this Malware? It comes in a couple exe's, fade.exe was supposed to be located in Appdata/Temp (which I never found, but everyone else did). Then it tries to run init.exe, which Avast blocked and removed. It also made another malicious exe that I removed in the games directory, however Malwarebytes didn't pick any of these up besides one registry key which it found as a Hijack (...). I manually found some other registry keys and folders related to "Fade" and ridded of them, but there could be more. Extended analysis here: http://gtaforums.com/topic/794383-malware-inside-angry-planes-noclip-mod/page-7#entry1067465309~ Does the MBAM team know about this? I'm surprised MBAM didn't pick this up, avast did most of the removing. I want to know if I'm safe and if there's any additional things I can scan with. It caught everyone off guard really.
