Do we have to update manually each program?

Hey daledoc1, thanks for your answer too. When you say "When you reinstalled, you downloaded the new 1.07 installer, which is not yet available via the program auto-updater (it is available at the product page)." What do you mean exactly? will it be available soon then? -
Do we have to update manually each program?
StevenOG90 replied to StevenOG90's topic in Anti-Exploit Beta
It says "automatically upgrade to new versions" but I was never notified of it -
Hey everyone, I'm not just refering to anti-exploit but also to malwarebytes , both free versions, do we have to update the software manually or will we get a notification? Because today, due to some freezing problems with my pc I uninstalled anti exploit free version and downloaded it again, what I noticed is that I downloaded the new version which included "log protection events" option. So, what if I never downloaded this new version? will I keep using the old anti-exploit without that option? I just want to know, I really like this program. Should I check the website for new updates then? thanks!

Hi everyone, first of all I want to say I'm happy with malwarebytes, it has detected many things the last months, is cool and updates very often. This is just a curiosity. Yesterday I tried superantyspyware since I saw it sometimes detect some infected files malwarebytes can't, I was skeptical but once I run the full scan it detected about 44 tracking cookies. I obviously prefer malwarebytes, but is this usual that malwarebytes dont detect tracking cookies or doesnt consider them as a threat? Thanks to everyone!

Ooph, thanks very much for that info, it explains why I got that update today. But also I would like to ask about this update Malwarebytes Anti-Malware v2.1.7.1055 , I didnt get any notification while I was using the Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 2.1.6. I have the program set to tell me if there is a new update when I check for database update. -

My 2 computers were using Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 2.1.6 1022 Today one of them got the notification to update to Malwarebytes Anti-Malware v2.1.8.1057 , how about Malwarebytes Anti-Malware v2.1.7.1055? why didnt it showed me that update? I have ticked that option to let me know whenever there is a new update. -

Actually I started using this program on june 11th -
Hello, this is not a complaint just to let developers know that malwarebytes (free) in windows 8.1 didnt warn me that there was a new update for the software. I started using this program since June 1st, and yesterday run a scan however the program told me that there is a new update today. I checked this thread https://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?/topic/3283-malwarebytes-anti-malware-history-updates/page-2and it said that the program updated 06.19, I didnt get any notification for that.

conflict between avg (paid version) and anti exploit?
StevenOG90 posted a topic in Anti-Exploit Beta
Hi, I'm wondering if there might be a conflict while running malwarebytes anti exploit (google chrome) and avg paid version. Could the web browsing protection of avg or identity protection might interfere with this malwarebytes product? thanks! -
