  1. Yes, that tool downloaded and ran. It came up with an issue that it said it could not fix automatically. Screenshot below.
  2. Another update - I have treated a different PC on the network and I do not have the same issues as the problem PC; secure sites load with no issues and the Humble Bundle site does not have the certificate error in Chrome. I also checked the problem PC on another network where it still has the same issue. Is there a way to erase every certificate I have and just start over? Would that help? Thanks!
  3. Sorry - forgot the screenshots. First is Chrome's certificate error at the MS site. Second is the results of the MS automated troubleshooting tool.
  4. Going through Chrome produces the same results. The installer fails once the software has downloaded and launched. Interestingly, the Microsoft Repair site brings a certificate flag from Chrome (first screen shot). When I received the same error this time, I clicked to download a utility to troubleshoot the problem. It downloaded and launched Microsoft Automated Troubleshooting Services Diagnostic tool. I ran the tool with the option to repair issues automatically. It ended with an issue that it discovered but was unable to fix automatically. The second screenshot shows what it came back with.
  5. Successfully reset the SSL state but when I try to run the fix it tool, I get the error below:
  6. I went aheadhard-reset the router to factory defaults. The first couple of HTTPS sites I've tried are still giving me trouble.
  7. I forgot to include the screenshot of the certificate alert in IE. Here you go:
  8. Ok - I uninstalled Chrome then reset the IE settings. After the reboot, I got another security alert when I opened IE but this one is not for Google Analytics like the previous ones have been. Screenshot below. I also verified that HTTPS sites are still slow to come up even though Chrome was removed. I have re-installed Chrome now but the sites are still slow. The Humble Bundle site continues to show the same warning when I view it in Chrome. So far that is the only site I have found with an error like that. Thanks!
  9. Yes, both Chrome and IE are slow and unreliable when accessing HTTPS sites. Both browsers will eventually load a page, but it may take several tries. Unlike Chrome, the Humble Bundle site does not show a certificate error when viewed in IE.
  10. About the same. I keep getting the security alert about revocation information for the Google Analytics site, even after selecting yes. Secure sites are still a problem and the Humble Bundle site still has the same warning that my work PC does not.
  11. Ok - the computer crashed. I retried and it finally completed. Log.txt is attached. Am I clear to reinstall Antivirus? Do you recommend Panda or another free alternative? Thanks! log.txt
  12. I think it has frozen. I have been sitting at completed stage 50 for over an hour and it hasn't generated a log yet.
  13. Here are the most recent logs. A weird observation - when I try to load the main humble bundle site (it is a secure site) on the problem PC , I experience the issues we are discussing. When I finally do get the site to come up, Chrome is telling me that there is an issue with the certificate for the site (screenshot). When I load the same site from my work PC it comes right up and does not show the certificate issue. Could that be a clue as to what the issue is? Thanks! Addition.txt FRST.txt MBAM Log.txt
  14. I use Chrome and IE. Both browsers seem to have the same issue. It is random. Sometimes they load, sometimes they don't. Ocassionally they will load on the first try but they usually fail once or twice and I have to reload. I can get them to load eventually, but I would think it should work first try.
