I had that happen. I was infected with a virus. It will just scan and just cancel. But I had windows 8.

Thanks, I logged into the admin account and it updated the database today. I have it on auto to update but sometimes i just do it myself. I run a scan everyday. I hope with Windows 10 tomorrow coming out I hope everything will be working! They should fix that big that a non admin account cant update the database!

I have Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Home (Premium) 2.1.8.1057 I am also having issues unable to access the update server after Database Version v2015.07.28.01 I had this same issue and I contact support they told me just to do a Mbam-Clean and than Install Malwarebytes Anti Malware again. So I did than and i tried to access the update server it worked. Now its not working again! Tired of this. Now im having the same issue again.
