  1. ok, nevermind. when i logged back in, i was able to go away from the ransomware page and clear my history...that seems to have worked...
  2. I had this happen on my droid when i was first setting it up a year or so ago. I was downloading an app, and boom, i get a pop-up message that my device has been blocked for safety reasons, then a ransomware note, then i'm being told that my device was being used to view pornography. I was able then to find the application (named Badger) and disable it. This time around, I cannot seem to find the application needing to be disabled, so i went the suggested route of going through the device administrator pathway and only have 3 options there: 1) Motorola Device Policy, 2) Local Wipe Policy and 3) Android Device Manager The first one is not checked, the second two are. I looked at the disabled Badger app, and it was 116kb. The only other app on the device of a similar size was named "On Device Provisioning" but it did not have a disable function. I was able to stop it via a Force Stop, but that didn't help. I've disabled just about everything else that allowed for a disable. Still the message persists. I'm trying not to do a factory reset so I don't lose all of my pictures, but that's looking like my only option. Any suggestions would be very very much appreciated. Thanks!
