  1. Hey THE, Nothing specific comes to mind what this started. My son uses my PC on occasion and thought he might have hit a site that infected my PC. Sound like my only option is to reload windows, or do you have other suggestions? Regards, Doug
  2. Hi THE, Created another account and still having the same issues. I get USB connectivity and ok performance in Safemode, but no internet. For example, my razor usb keyboard works in Safemode, but not in a normal boot. Regular boot is extremely slow, some USB ports don't work and no internet. Did you see any evidence of any malware causing the issues? Regards, Doiug
  3. Hey THE, Reran FRST and attached the logs. Thanks. Regards, Doug Addition.txt FRST.txt
  4. OK, it ran using those instructions. But gave a statement after that it did not find anything. Regards, Doug
  5. Hi THE, I ran step on and got the same result that I got the first time. Regards, Doug
  6. Hi THE, Ran step two, but got the message I attached to this not. Tried step one again with the same result. I also ran ESET util and attached the log. Thanks. Regards, Doug SvcRepair.log Document.rtf
  7. Hey THE, I tried to run sfc /scannow and go the following message, "Windows Protection could not start the repair service". Should I run the other commands? Regards, Doug
  8. Hi THM, Ran MBAM, but could not do an update, as the machine has not connectivity. Here are the files you requested. FRST.txt Addition.txt mbam.txt
  9. Hey THE, I restarted again and the desktop came back up. So I ran Adware and got the following log. I restarted and got the same error as above, but when I restarted again, the desktop came back up. Just an FYI, no improvements in performance at this time. Thanks. Regards, Doug AdwCleanerC1.txt
  10. Hi THE, I was able to run the FIX in FRST. But when I restarted the PC, the slowness continues, but this time this message came up during the login process. "Location Not Available C:\Windows\system32\config\systemprofile\desktop refers to a location that is unavailable. It could be on a hard drive on this computer, or on a network. Check to make sure that the disk is properly inserted, or that you are connected to the internet or your network, an then try again. If it still cannot be located, the information might have been moved to a different location." Then the desktop did not have any of my previous icons. only had 3 icons for generic programs. Do you still want me to run adaware? I was able to get a copy of the fix log before the reboot. Regards, Doug Fixlog.txt
  11. Hi THE, Here the are files you requested. Thanks. Regards, Doug Addition.txt FRST.txt
