Hi Everyone. A customer has been infected with DMA Lock 3.0 Hope this helps someone at least. At the moment, the more information we submit, the better the protection and anti-ransomware becomes. Apologies if this information is useless - I made the assumption of 'forearmed is forewarned'. We've found a single user account that has been used to access all the infected PC's. I don't know how they got into the network in the first place yet. 1) Each user has their own mapped network folder so they can store files. This .dat file was found in the user folder. (attached) I've copied and renamed it to .txt and zipped the original. Maybe can be used for analysis. 2) A firewall exception was added to Windows. Morning All, I've just updated to the latest Beta Version (0.9.15.416 I think) However, to be greeted by 'Your System is fully protected - Anti-Ransomware Protection is disabled' is somewhat of a conundrum. Clicking the obvious 'Enable Protection' does nothing either.

I needed to do something to get your attention. I've got MBAR installed, it doesn't scan for possible existing infections, if my system gets compromised what is there to stop the attacker shutting down MBAR? It would be nice if there was something to stop the application/service/process being terminated. Anyone else agree?

Malwarebytes is a comprehensive scanning and removal tool for spyware/malware/tracking cookies and more. Why doesn't this program have a 'scan' function like Malwarebytes does?

Morning All. MBAR updated to version 0.9.9.314 this morning. I was asked to reboot the PC since the update. Post-update, MBAR did not automatically re-enable protection and had to do it manually. The OP is having the same issue.
