Thanks for the welcoming and for your help! I uninstalled and re-installed malwarebytes (so I got the component package 1.0.75) and everything seems to function as it should. I will give it some time though, to check how it goes. Couple of questions, unrelated to the aforementioned issue: Why don't the Component and Update package, update automatically? Is it because of preview versions and such? Will it update automatically in the future, or, one will have to download and install a new build manually? Thank you Firefox

Hi, in the last few days, the following is happening: I can't interact with malwarebytes at all. When I click to show the dashboard, it just starts the assistant.exe and that's it(see attached image). If I right click the tray, it doesn't do anything at all(same as above). So I can't interact with the program, I can't quit it, nothing. The only solution is to restart. And when I restart, everything functions as it should, but, after some time (I don't have any idea what triggers this behavior) I'll end up with the same issue. Also, it seems that malwarebytes won't update the database automatically(see attached image) when this issue appears. Any help would be appreciated.
