Followed the steps as required, but same results. I found another thread about adding MAB to Microsoft Security Essentials exclusion list (files and processes), so I tried adding that too... but no effect. I don't know if it's worth mentioning, but this is a completely clean system install from last week -- should be no bloatware, spyware, etc. It appears to be the IP Protection module... if I disable IP Protection (right click on the system tray), I no longer experience the problems. Is there a system log or something I can check? (there's nothing in the Windows logs)
