I did a deep scan first on my laptop, but aborted it after 20 hours...it reported 28 infected items and placed them in quarantine. I am now doing a quick scan and is is still running at 29 hours with 22,000 infected items! Do I still let it run? I also have Bit Defender....is there a reason why the scan is taking so long, possibly compromised by another program or something? Should I abort it? I am uneducated in this stuff, so I could use some guidance please....thanks!!
