Hi, I am having trouble with my firefox redirecting some google searches. Some time ago AVG picked up a threat but the file type kept changing so it was difficult to remove the problem all together. After some time, numerous updates and scans, the detection dissapeared. I now have a redirection issue and I suspect the two are related. I have run malware and nothing has been detected but the problem persists. I am hoping someone may be able to give me some assistance as I dont currently have much faith in the websites I am visiting. I am unable to get a copy of the HJT log as I get an error message stating that my computer cant locate the txt file. Is anyone able to assit?
