This is the latest. I ran Mbam in quick scan, and it ran fine and found a Trojan, and cleaned it. I ran other scans with other products and a few other things were found that were not that particularly bad. After all this Mbam would still stop. I determined that it was always stopping in a particular folder. This folder was Program Files from a copy of an Old XP system. (I did a new build using Win 7 and copied the contents from an old XP system to the Win 7 HD) I deleted this folder and Mbam stopped scanning in the recycle bin. I then emptied the recycle bin and Mbam now runs fine. Go figure... Thanks for the assistance, but something was causing Mbam to stop. Mbam is a great product and I will continue to use it. I wish I could have determined which file was causing it to stop. You can close the thread if you like.
