hi thank you actually the 2 items with the weird squares i cannot find the actual files anywhere in my computer either

i found this weird file on the msconfig start up menu and i cannot locate in my computer

ok scanned system surprisingly mbam did not find anything i went ahead and bought real time protection and activated it and i will be following up to try and find out what that is in my start up file thanks for you help and patience take care

ok found it it was in a strange location under documents and setting dont ask me how

ok thanks i did not purchase real time protection yet that maybe why i don't see "start with windows" only problem im having trouble finding the microsoft security essentials files still looking tho

ok thanks again i did clean install and added what you said only thing is when it said go to protection i do not have that option to start with windows

oh i only run ms security essentials mbam and spybot thanks

hello and thank you for your help i am running windows xp i was trying to do a full scan because i fond this weird thing under msconfig start up the 2 programs with the weird squares also i dont let the computer hibernate i never had problems scanning before its usually the only time my computer gets a break from everyone here i am working on what you told me to do now thanks again

having trouble with scanner it always hangs and is very slow try to do full scan at night and it just stops did a reinstall and still no good when i click close the screen turns white and get the error message mbam is unresponsive do you wish to end now
