Problem Printing Shipping Label with PayPal [JAVA PROBLEM]

Alright so i'm trying to print a shipping label, but its telling me to install the latest Java SE2 Run time Environment, so i installed it and when i go back to print the label i'm still getting the error. Here is a picture and here's the info. Please help ASAP my dad needs his shipping labels xD. I have the latest java version, i even checked in my java console.

Have you tried to install J2SE JRE? Normally, Java versions are backward compatible, but maybe this one isn't.

Here's a quote from Java themselves.

The latest version of Java is always the recommended version as it contains updates and improvements to previous versions. The latest available version is always compatible with the older versions.

You can also keep older versions of Java installed, in case you have an applet/application that still depends upon a previous version.

Note: You should report to the applet provider/developer about this dependability. They need to rectify their code in order to ensure compatibility with all Java versions.

Seems it's worth a try.

Here is a canned message on removing older Java versions on XP.

Reconfigure Windows XP to show hidden files:

To enable the viewing of Hidden files follow these steps:

* Close all programs so that you are at your desktop.

* Double-click on the My Computer icon.

* Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.

* After the new window appears select the View tab.

* Put a checkmark in the checkbox labeled Display the contents of system folders.

* Under the Hidden files and folders section select the radio button labeled Show hidden files and folders.

* Remove the checkmark from the checkbox labeled Hide file extensions for known file types.

* Remove the checkmark from the checkbox labeled Hide protected operating system files.

* Press the Apply button and then the OK button and exit My Computer.

* Now your computer is configured to show all hidden files.

Please go into the Control Panel, Add/Remove and for now remove ALL versions of JAVA

Then run this tool to help cleanup any left over Java

Download and Update Java Runtime

The most current version of Sun Java is: Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 6 Update 16.

• Go to http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp
  
• Go to Java SE Runtime Environment (JRE) - JRE 6 Update 16 about half way down the page and click on the Download button.
  
• In Platform box choose Windows.
  
• Check the box to Accept License Agreement and click Continue.
  
• Click on Windows Offline Installation, click on the link under it which says jre-6u16-windows-i586.exe and save the downloaded file to your desktop.
  
• Install the new version by running the newly-downloaded file with the java icon which will be on your desktop, and follow the on-screen instructions.
  
• Uncheck the Toolbar button (unless you want the toolbar)
  
• Reboot your computer

There seems to be a lot of Java as well as Adobe update problems posted lately -

I have always found that to uninstall the older version (even though you can 'overinstall') has been the better option -

The Adobe site in one of it's FAQ sections states to remove older versions if you have problems and then install the latest version -

This seems to be occuring a bit with Sun products lately - Even though I have not visited their FAQ for a while I will check if this is their response -
