MBAM preaventing shut down

Recommended Posts

Hi: :)

No, it's not normal, but there have been a couple of users reporting this.

First, try a reboot or two (if not already done).

If still a "no go", please follow the directions exactly as shown here:
MBAM Clean Removal Process 2x

If that does not correct it, then please read the following and post back the requested logs as attachments to your next reply:
Diagnostic Logs

The staff/experts will review them to determine what might be going on.

Thanks,

No, I do not get error msgs. Since I am not running MBAM at shutdown, don't know what u mean exactly. I guess stalled shutdown means that it is running in the background, I am not directly in the program at shutdown. If I try to shutdown and get the force shutdown msg, I cancel shutdown, go back into desktop and shut down again. The 2nd time it does shut down but seems to take a while and it's annoying to have to do twice. Hope that helps. Thanks for the response. If all else fails, I will do the clean removal process.
