administrator permission ignored

in spite of the fact that i am the only user on my computer and [obviously] have administrator permission, i cannot so much as move the mbam desktop shortcut to another folder. i have screen caps, attached.

 

i even elected to run mbam as an administrator.

 

this is most perplexing.

 

any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi and welcome:

 

Do you have Self-Protection (SP) enabled, by any chance?

If so, it is protecting MBAM files (including the desktop shortcut).

Try disabling SP (and perhaps a reboot) and see if that allows you to move the shortcut.
