  1. The issue resolved itself. I came into work and it was pulling updates and permitted me to manually pull update without the error. Support parsed through the logs and nothing unusual was found other than a few errors with the server having trouble connecting to the database. My sys eng reported they were not doing anything that would have affected the MWAB server from making connections. So, this one remains a mystery.
  2. Yes, #7 suggestion is good too! I keep looking at the client's status for 'scanning' and it takes a sec. \ #8 Add in the Summary Report section the capability to export logs to .txt and be able to customize the report. Let's say you want a .txt log that list the common threats/hosts/and action taken or range of hosts scan results/action taken.
  3. I am currently testing out the Enterprise Edition and so far I agree with # 3 and #4; those are great suggestions! I only have a few hosts that I've been able to install the client agent on but in the next few days I should have a whole suite of hosts and then I can add some suggestions as well. Either way, this product (MWAB) is a beast! No other product I have tested has performed quite as well :-)
  4. I log into the console to find out that it's pulling updates and it's letting me do it manually without that error...... The .dat file is 1kb today. Does that indicate that thing are fine? If it's 0kb or not there would that be producing the error? I sent support the sys logs that includes the days that the console was giving me the error and for today with no error. I'll keep this post updated on the results.
  5. I checked the SysLogs and this is the error msg: Latest Error: 2014-04-08 14:12:45.460 ERROR SCWebService.CheckSignatureFromInternet: System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. I noticed a post similar to this one where a user was having the same error at the logon screen
  6. I noticed that the management console wasn't pulling updates and as I went to manually update I received this error, Object reference not set to an instance of an object. The only thing that I did differently today was push the client agent via LANDDesk to a few host systems, but did not touch the management console or server it's on. Albert
  7. To all, We have used the free version on host system's in our company to rid them of adware/malware and it does a fantastic job. We do run into the occasional user that does not have privileges to edit reg keys or IE settings and because of this I have seen that not all threats detected can be fixed without running in elevated privileges. Will this same occurence happen with Enterprise MEE on those host machines? Is there a way to run a scan from the management console in eleveated/admin privileges? Albert Pierce Net Sec Admin
