  3. Hi, I believe Malwarebytes is causing my Laptop to freeze opon start-up forcing a 'hard' restart. The Malwarebytes icon doesn't appear/load in the taskbar at the time of freezing. To double check that it is Malwarebytes causing the problem - I disable it within the Start-Up tab in msconfif. So far it has prooved my theory to be correct. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
  4. Hi yardbird & thank you for your detailed description. It turns out the problem was due to the StartUp folder being removed from the Start Menu as suggested by exile360 for which I give thanks. I also wanted to ask if my AV's Realtime Protection conflicts with MBAM's Realtime Protection?
  5. EDIT: I've just this minute done a System Restore & it seems to have fixed the problem is there any reason for this?
