  1. the laptop/battery is only 1.5 years old...is it possible it can be faulty since it is somewhat new?
  2. Hello during the last 2-3 weeks my laptop kept shutting down by itself. At first I thought that it was because of overheating but lately I found out that when I remove tha battery and just start it by plugging it in, it runs smoothly no unexpected shutdowns. But when I connect the battery it shuts down after 1-2 hours or so. Also another weird thing I noticed is that when I connect the battery after a shutdown it is 0% charged, even though before the shutdown it was 100% .... I suppose my laptop battery is causing this malfunction? Is there any way to repair it or do I have to buy a new battery? I don't know if this matters but my laptop is Sony VPCEB3M1E thanks!
  3. thanks for the help!

  4. done the last steps also, thank you so much for your help!
  5. however as I told you it appears the problem is fixed now...no other popup ads show up!
