  1. Hmmm. That was the advice in the previous thread, and I followed it. Not sure what you mean by the DDS.txt and Attach.txt logs - I get a log file called mbam-log-<date/time>. It says no problem: Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 1.75.0.1300www.malwarebytes.org Database version: v2014.03.31.03 Windows 8 x64 NTFSInternet Explorer 11.0.9600.16521MJM :: MJMPC [administrator] 31/03/2014 12:14:07mbam-log-2014-03-31 (12-14-07).txt Scan type: Quick scanScan options enabled: Memory | Startup | Registry | File System | Heuristics/Extra | Heuristics/Shuriken | PUP | PUMScan options disabled: P2PObjects scanned: 224621Time elapsed: 5 minute(s), 15 second(s) Memory Processes Detected: 0(No malicious items detected) Memory Modules Detected: 0(No malicious items detected) Registry Keys Detected: 0(No malicious items detected) Registry Values Detected: 0(No malicious items detected) Registry Data Items Detected: 0(No malicious items detected) Folders Detected: 0(No malicious items detected) Files Detected: 0(No malicious items detected) (end) I have also run Rogue Killer, which removed a few registry files. However, I still keep getting the pop-up about My PC Backup!
  2. Hi guys, new to the forum. I searched for this topic and noticed there was one, but had been closed without apparent response from the originator. I have the same problem (My PC Backup), so I hope it;s OK to start a new topic. I've done everything advised by various sites to get rid of My PC Backup - including running Rogue Killer as suggested - but the damn thing is still there with its popup message. Anybody else getting this, and any advice? Thanks, Mike
