  1. I contacted Grammarly about this issue. They say the problem is not at their end. MBAE has not yet responded so I assume they are working on the problem.
  2. I have been using Grammarly, and spelling and grammar checker in Windows 10, Office products, and email. It works fine. However, lately, Anti-exploit is shutting down my Microsoft Word stating that Grammarly is malware. I need help with this false positive. Thanks. 3. I installed MalwareBytes (paid version) a few days ago. I invoked a scan which immediately informed me that I had 1 infection. The scan took a long time. After three hours I finally went to bed, allowing the scan to proceed without me. In the morning, the computer was "froze." I struggled trying to unfreeze the computer. I could not access TaskManager. I could not invoke CTRL-SHIFT-ESC or Windows-R. Everything I clicked on immediately grayed out and went to "Not responding." I could not do a soft shut down. I had to hard shut down each time. I finally started in Safe Mode, went to MS Config and disabled everything in Services that was not Microsoft. I also disabled everything in the Start that was not Microsoft with the except of McAfee. I restarted the computer and it worked fine. Since installing malwarebytes was one of the last things I did before the computer went crazy on me, I naturally blamed the program. However, after looking at this forum for a couple of hours, maybe that is not the case. I uninstalled the software and was ready to ask for a refund, but I want to be fair and see what the real problem is before I abandon the ship. Any suggestions as to how to proceed? Thanks in advance.
